Kathryn M. Breuer

Kathryn M. Breuer, nee Heinecke, of the Town of Addison died on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Cedar Community Health Care Center at the age of 76 years.Š She was born on March 18, 1933, in Nabob, to the late George P. and Sybilla M. (nee Schaeffer) Heinecke.ŠAs a child, her family moved to Barton.ŠAfter completing grade school, she went on to graduate from West Bend High School with the Class of 1951.

On July 7, 1951, she was united in marriage to Thomas F. Breuer at St. Mary═s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.Š The couple then bought a farm in the Town of Addison.Š In 1984, they retired from farming, but remained close by, living next door to the farm.

A few of Kathryn═s favorite past-times included baking, crocheting and knitting.Š Being gifted at crocheting/knitting, sheŠenjoyed giving away herŠspecial creations as gifts.Š She also enjoyed golfing and playing cards, particularly sheepshead.

For more than 58 years, she was a devoted wife, and later became a loving mother and caring grandmother.Š She would lend a helping hand whenever she could.

She was a member of the Christian Women═s Confraternity at St. Lawrence Catholic Parish.

Survivors include her husband; four children, Michael (Janice) of Waldo, Daniel (Koreen) of Allenton, Karen (David) Long of Eden and Linda (Jeffrey) Kruepke of West Bend; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine (Francis) Braun of West Bend; a brother, George ˝Butchţ Heinecke of Muskego; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Bernice) Breuer of West Bend and Jerry (Rosie) Breuer of Slinger; three sisters-in-law, Eileen (Sylvester) Goeller of Hartford, Mary Ann Peters of West Bend and Carole Breuer of Hartford; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald (Dorothy) Heinecke, a sister, Carol (Ervin) Westphal, a sister-in-law, Katherine (Clarence) Becker; and a brother-in-law Leroy Breuer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence with Fr. Jerome Repenshek presiding.Š Burial will be at 10 a.m. in St. Matthias Cemetery,ŠNabob.Š Visitation will be at the church only on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.
